*The salaries paid to the Supreme Bench in Baltimore City are $10,000.00 per
year. Baltimore City pays $3,125.00 and the State pays $6,875.00. The State further
pays Baltimore City $1,625.00, which represents the difference between $6,875.00
actually paid to the Judges, and $8,500.00 appropriated to them.
**The salaries of these employees prior to October 1, 1933 were $3,500. The
amount of $3,010 is the result arrived at by applying the salary reduction schedule
appended to salary appropriations in the budget passed by the General Assembly of
1933 for the fiscal years 1934 and 1935.
