1242 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 590
CHAPTER 590.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and de-
vises contained in the last Wills and Testaments of certain
persons, deceased, and also to certain gifts, grants, sales,
leases and deeds made by various persons to and for the
use and benefit of sundry ministerial persons, religious
corporations, vestries, educational and charitable institu-
tions, churches, denominations or sects hereinafter
named.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the said General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises,
grants, sales, leases, conveyances and deeds, to and from
certain persons and bodies corporate to and for the use of
certain ministerial persons, religious and educational cor-
porations, orders, denominations and sects, and to certain
charitable institutions hereinafter named as herein set
forth:

1. To a bequest of One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00)
to the Rector, Vestrymen and Church Wardens of Christ
Church of Baltimore, Maryland, for the purposes as men-
tioned in the last Will and Testament of Caroline Emory
Goldsborough, dated October 10th, 1917 and recorded among
the records of the Register of Wills for Baltimore City.

2. To a bequest of One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) to
the Rector, Vestry and Wardens of Memorial Protestant
Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Maryland, contained in
the Will of Edgar Bentley dated October 8th, 1930 and re-
corded among the records of the Register of Wills for Bal-
timore City.

3. To the following bequests contained in the Last Will
and Testament of Fergus O'Connor, deceased, said Will hav-
ing been probated in the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City
on March 28th, 1934 and recorded among Wills, Liber J. H. B.
No. 179:

(a) To the Most Reverend Michael J. Curley, Archbishop
of Baltimore, and/or his successor, Two Thousand Dollars
($2000. 00) for the use and benefit of the Cathedral Branch
of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Baltimore City

(b) To the Associated Professors of Saint Mary's Sem-
inary of Baltimore City, One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00)
