statement of the condition thereof. It shall also be the
duty of said Department to supervise the operation and
maintenance of all mechanical equipment inside and outside
of all state buildings, including the heating, plumbing, light-
ing, ventilating, water supply and sewerage disposal.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 556.
AN ACT to add one new section to Article 19A of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Conservation
of Natural Resources, " sub-title "Conservation Depart-
ment, " to be known as Section 5A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 5 of said Article 19A, to provide that
the Conservation Commissioner shall have the power and
duty to foster, promote, protect and encourage the organ-
ization of co-operative associations of fishermen or per-
sons engaged in the production or capture of aquatic
products, and to disseminate marketing information with
respect to the orderly marketing of aquatic products.

CHAPTER 557.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 13 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Harford County, " sub-title "Taxes and County Treas-
urer, " said new section to be known as Section 489A
and to follow immediately after Section 489 of said
Article, providing for a uniform city and/or town tax
rate of $1. 00 per $100. 00 per year on all motor vehicles
owned by residents of the municipalities of Bel Air and
Havre de Grace in Harford County, and providing for
the collection of said taxes by the Treasurer of Harford
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
