would have matured had the same compensation been
awarded by the Commission at the time of passing its order
from which the appeal is taken.

The Attorney General shall be the legal advisor of the
Commission, and shall represent it in all proceedings when-
ever so requested by any of the Commissioners. In all
Court proceedings under or pursuant to this Article, the
decision of the Commission shall be prima facie correct
and the burden of proof shall be upon the party attacking
the same.

SEC. 2. And be it farther enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 546.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
8 and 9 of Article 9 of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, Bagby's Edition 1924, title "Attachments, "
sub-title "Attachments Against Non-Resident and Ab-
sconding Debtors, " for the purpose of authorizing the
issuance of additional writs of attachment on the original
affidavit before the next return day or any time there-
after.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 8 and 9 of Article 9 of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, Bagby's Edition,
1924, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to read as follows:

8. Upon making the affidavit and producing the proofs
before the clerk of the court from which such attach-
ment is to issue, or upon presenting to said clerk the affi-
davit and proofs when said affidavit is not made before
him, he shall issue an attachment against the lands, tene-
ments, goods, chattels and credits of said debtor, and
other writs of attachment, founded on the original affidavit
and proofs set out aforesaid, may be issued by said clerk
from time to time either before the return day next suc-
ceeding said original affidavit and proofs or any time there-
after.
