SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 225 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County, " sub-title "East New Market, " be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:
225. The inhabitants of said town above the
age of twenty-one years, who has resided in said town for
six months next preceding the date of election, and per-
sons above the age of twenty-one years owning property
in said town, shall possess the qualifications of electors of
Commissioners for said town. The qualified voters of said
town, on the first Monday in May in every second year,
accounting from the year one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-four, between the hours of 12 o'clock M. and 5
o'clock P. M., shall elect by ballot five persons of known
integrity, experience and sound judgment, to be. Commis-
sioners of said town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted) That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 541.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Montgomery County to borrow upon the faith
and credit of said county, (A) a sum not exceeding in
the aggregate nine hundred and eleven thousand dollars
. ($911, 000. 00) and (B) a sum not exceeding in the aggre-
gate seventy thousand dollars ($79, 000. 00) and to issue
and sell coupon bonds therefor at any time or from time
to time not later than June 1, 1937, for the purpose of
providing funds for the retirement of certain specific
outstanding obligations, overdrafts or other indebted-
ness of the County Commissioners of Montgomery Coun-
ty and validating said outstanding obligations, over-
drafts or other indebtedness so to be refunded, and pro-
viding for the payment of the said coupon bonds and the
interest thereon by a general tax levy upon all the tax-
able property within the limits of said county.
