ber as the voter is lawfully entitled to vote for out of the
whole number of candidates nominated for such office.
224D. The Board of Supervisors of Election of Mont-
gomery County, in the event voting machines are acquired
by said Board as provided in Section 224B, are hereby
instructed and directed to furnish one of such voting ma-
chines for each five hundred registered voters in each of
the polling places in said Wheaton and Bethesda election
districts, where voting machines are used, excepting that
in case of the number of voters between the multiples of
five hundred the Board of Supervisors of Election of Mont-
gomery County may, in their judgment, furnish an ad-
ditional voting machine.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall

provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency or conflict.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or
take effect on the first day of June, 1935.

CHAPTER 533.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, title "Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-
title "County Dispensaries, " as said Article was enacted
by Chapter 2 of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session
of 1933, said new section to be known as Section 48DD
and to follow immediately after Section 48D of said Arti-
cle, authorizing the Liquor Control Board of Worcester
County to employ an enforcement officer.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Alco-
holic Beverages, " sub-title "County Dispensaries, " as said
Article was enacted by Chapter 2 of the Acts of the Ex-
traordinary Session of 1933, said new section to be known
as Section 48DD, to follow immediately after Section 48D
of said Article, and to read as follows:
