of the bonds, notes, certificates of indebtedness or other
obligations authorized herein, the same shall be paid by
a general tax levied upon all the assessable property within
the limits of Montgomery County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this law is de-
clared to be an emergency law necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and, having
been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHATTIER 10.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
200 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title, "Montgomery County, "
sub-title, "County Treasurer, " as said Chapter was
amended by Chapter 462 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1931, and as said Section was
further amended by Chapter 236 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1933, so as to provide for
the fixing of the bonds given by the Treasurer of Mont-
gomery County for the collection of State taxes and for
the collection of County taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 200 of Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), Title,
"Montgomery County, " Sub-Title "County Treasurer, " as
said section was amended by Chapter 462 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1931, and as said
section was further amended by Chapter 236 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1933, be and it
is hereby repealed and reenacted with amendments to read
as follows:
200. Before entering upon the discharge of the duties
of the said office, the Treasurer of Montgomery County
shall take and subscribe before the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for said county the oath prescribed in Section 6 of
