ately after Section 10 thereof so as to authorize the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County to ex-
tend the time for the payment of uncollected special as-
sessments, including those sold or about to be sold for
non-payment, levied by it upon property located in the
Montgomery County Suburban District, pursuant to the
provisions of Section 637 of Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), or pur-
suant to the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 459 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1931;
and to validate and confirm all special assessments levied
pursuant to the provisions of said Acts, and further to
authorize the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County to renew, reissue or extend any bond, note, certifi-
cate of indebtedness or other obligation issued against
said special assessments pursuant to the authority
granted by the Acts or laws heretofore referred to or
pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 156 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1933,
and further to authorize the County Commissioners of
Montgomery County to issue and sell additional bonds,
notes, certificates of indebtedness or other obligations in
order to provide funds for the payment of any maturing
obligations payable out of the funds collected from such
special assessments and which might not be so payable
owing to default in the payment of the principal and
interest due on any such special assessments, and to pro-
vide for the payment of any of the obligations issued
pursuant to the provisions of this Act out of the funds
collected from such special assessments or by a general
tax levy.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 459 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1931 be and the same is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new section to be
known as Section 10A, to follow immediately after Section
10 thereof, and to read as follows:

10A. The County Commissioners of Montgomery Coun-
ty are hereby authorized and empowered to extend the
time for payment of all uncollected special assessments,
including those already sold or about to be sold for non-
payment, heretofore levied by them in the Montgomery
County Suburban District for street improvements pur-
suant to the provisions of Section 637 of Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 edition) or
pursuant to the provisions of Section 10. of this Act. Such
