In Baltimore City, the Chairman of the Board shall re-
ceive an annual salary of Thirty-five Hundred Dollars
($3, 500. 00), and the other members of the Board shall re-
ceive an annual salary of Three Thousand Dollars
($3, 000. 00).
In Calvert County each of the members of the Board
shall receive an annual salary of Two Hundred Dollars
($200. 00).
In Prince George's County, each of the members of the
Board shall receive an annual salary of Five Hundred Dol-
lars ($500. 00). The Clerk of the Board who shall be the
Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners shall receive
an annual salary of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars
($250. 00) as Clerk to said License Board; the attorney for
the Board shall receive an annual salary of Two Hundred
and Fifty Dollars ($250. 00), and the said Board shall be
authorized to expend such additional sum or sums as may
be necessary, not exceeding Two Hundred and Fifty Dol-
lars ($250. 00), per annum, to cover stenographic and
other expenses.
In Washington County each of the members of the
Board shall receive Ten Dollars ($10. 00) per day for each
day devoted to the business of the Board, not to exceed
Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1, 500. 00) per annum.
In Cecil County the members of the Board of County
Commissioners shall each receive, in addition to their
present salaries, Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) per an-
num for their services in acting as members of the Board
of License Commissioners of said County.
In Dorchester County the members of the Board of Coun-
ty Commissioners shall each receive, in addition to their
present salaries, one hundred dollars ($100. 00) per annum,
for their services in acting as members of the Board of
License Commissioners of said County.
In Carroll County each of the members of the Board of
County Commissioners shall receive, in addition to their
present salaries, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200. 00) per annum for their services in acting as mem-
bers of the Board of License Commissioners.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
be declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
