board, and the collecting agency for all taxes levied and
collected for said Town of Princess Anne, and said
President and Commissioners shall have power to employ
a clerk, collector, or other agent as may be necessary in
their discretion, to collect said taxes and to keep the records
of assessments, levies and collections, give notices and per-
form other ministerial duties required by the provisions of
this Act, and such clerk, collector or agent may be one of
the Commissioners of said Town of Princess Anne.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That nothing in
this Act contained or provided shall in any manner affect
the validity of any levy of taxes heretofore made by the
President and Commissioners of Princess Anne, or affect the
liability of taxpayers for any taxes heretofore levied or
any judgments recovered for such taxes, but all such taxes
heretofore levied shall be collected in the manner provided
by law at the time such taxes were levied.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 68.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
378, 379, 380 and 380A of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline
County, " sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks, " as
said sections were enacted by Chapter 523 of the Acts
of 1933, relating to the sale of beer, lager beer, ale and
porter in Caroline County and the licenses for such sale.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That, Sections 378, 379, 380 and 380A of Article
6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Caroline County, " sub-title "Liquor and Intoxi-
cating Drinks, " as said sections were enacted by Chapter
523 of the Acts of 1933, be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

378. Any person, firm, corporation, or association desir-
ing a license f or the sale of the beverages herein mentioned
shall file with the County Commissioners of Caroline
