SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 347 of Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland of 1930 (Flack's Edition),
title "Prince George's County, " sub-title "County Treas-
urer", be and the same is hereby repealed and reenacted to
read as follows:
347. All County taxes shall be paid in cash or in the
matured coupons of Prince George's County bonds; and all
money collected by the Treasurer and belonging to said
County shall be deposited by him, as soon as collected, in
the name of the Treasurer of said County, and not in his
individual name, in such amounts and in such safe bank or
banks of said County as are approved by him. Any and
all interest earned by said funds shall be credited to the
respective accounts of said Treasurer semi-annually, and
accounted for by him.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and being passed by a nay and yea vote supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 42.
AN ACT to add four new sections to Article 27 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "Sabbath Breaking, " said
new sections to be known as Sections 483D, 483E, 483F
and 483G and to follow immediately after Section 483C
of said Article, as enacted by Chapter 531 of the Acts of
1931, to permit the playing of amateur baseball and
other athletic games or sports and the exhibition of
motion pictures in Montgomery County on Sunday, and
to permit dancing, bowling, the playing of pool or bil-
liards, the exhibition of motion pictures or the hiring of
halls for cards or dancing until 1. 30 A. M. on Sundays.
