Emergency Housing and Park Commission shall be ap-
pointed as herein provided and thereafter assume and dis-
charge the rights, powers and duties conferred by this
act.
SECTION 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts of any Public General or Public Local Laws
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such in-
consistency.
SECTION 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an Emergency Law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon a yea and nay vote supported
by three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 33.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
586 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County, "
sub-title "Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District"
as said section was enacted by Section 2 of Chapter 448
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1927, so as to authorize the Governor to designate a
member of the Maryland National Capital Park and
Planning Commission from Montgomery County as Park
Commissioner for Montgomery County and to delegate
to him power to represent the Commission; and to pro-
vide for an additional salary for said Park Commis-
sioner, and transportation and to provide for the re-
moval of members of the Maryland National Park and
Planning Commission.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 586 of Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County, " sub-title "Maryland-Washington
