CHAPTER 22.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
271 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1935 Supplement), title "Public Education, " sub-title
"Vocational Rehabilitation. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 271 of Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, 1935 Supplement, title "Public Educa-
tion, " sub-title "Vocational Rehabilitation, " be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

271. Appropriations necessary to fully effectuate the
purpose of this sub-title shall be included from time to time
in the State budget and shall be made by the General As-
sembly.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all members elected to each of the two houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 23.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
6 of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935
Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace, " sub-title
"Civil Jurisdiction, " increasing the civil jurisdiction of
the Justices of the Peace for Wicomico County from two
hundred dollars to three hundred dollars.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 6 of Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Justices of
the Peace, " sub-title "Civil Jurisdiction, " be and it is here-
by repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
