102. The said Clerk, before entering upon his duties,
shall give bond to the State of Maryland in the penalty of
Five Thousand Dollars ($5, 000, 00), with corporate surety
satisfactory to said County Commissioners, the premium
on said bond to be paid by the County Commissioners of
Wicomico County; the condition of said bond shall be that
said Clerk shall well and truly account for and remit all
monies coming into his hands each month to the County
Commissioners of Wicomico County, or to such other
proper authority as may be entitled thereto by existing
law; and said Clerk may be removed from office by the
County Commissioners of Wicomico County upon failure
or refusal to perform his duties or for misconduct or
neglect of duty.
103. The County Commissioners of Wicomico County
are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to make
provision by appropriation in their annual levy, sufficient
funds to pay the salaries of said Judge and said Clerk, and
to provide said Judge with the suitable dockets, forms,
books, supplies and other equipment necessary for the
proper management and conduct of said office, and for the
preservation and filing of books and papers. And said
County Commissioners of Wicomico County shall provide
a suitable office located in the City of Salisbury, for the
transaction of the business of the said Judge, who shall be
the custodian of said office.
104. The Mayor and Council of Salisbury are hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to provide in each an-
nual levy for the portion of the salary hereinbefore pro-
vided to be paid to said Judge by said City of Salisbury.
105. If any section or part of a section of this Act shall
be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not be construed
as invalidating the other sections or provisions thereof.
SEC. 2. And b e it further enacted, That all acts or parts
of act inconsistent with the provisions of this act are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public safety, and being
passed upon by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
