line being 60. 4 feet in length, and the South line
being 38. 6 feet in length, which said tract of
ground including the family burying ground is
hereby reserved by the parties of the first part
with right of ingress and egress to and from same
to the Washington-Baltimore Boulevard.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the town of
University Park shall be divided into three wards as fol-
lows:

The first ward shall consist of that portion of land de-
scribed in the plat of Section 1 of University Park Com-
pany, Inc. as recorded in Plat Book R. N. R, No. 2 at Folio
69 of the Land Records of Prince George's County and
such portion of the municipality of University Park on
the Northwesterly side of University Drive opposite said
Section 1.

The second ward shall consist of that portion of land de-
scribed in the plat of Section 2 of University Park Com-
pany, Inc. as recorded in Plat Book S. D. H. No. 3 at Folio
5, and such portion of the municipality of University Park
on the Northwesterly side of University Drive opposite
said Section 2.

The third ward shall consist of that portion of land
described in plat of Section 3 of University Park Company,
Inc. as recorded in Plat Book S. D. H. No. 3 at Folio 16
and such portion of the municipality of University Park
on the Northwesterly side of University Drive opposite
said Section 3.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the officers of
said town shall consist of a Mayor, three councilmen, and
Treasurer, the Mayor and Treasurer to be elected by the
combined vote of the said town, and the councilmen to be
elected by their respective wards, and such appointive of-
ficers as are hereinafter designated, or shall be appointed
by the Mayor and Common Council, and each officer ap-
pointed shall continue to hold office for -such terms as the
Mayor and Common Council shall designate, or until his
successor is duly qualified. Before entering upon the
duties of his office, each officer shall take oath that he will
diligently and faithfully discharge all duties of his office
without favor, partiality or prejudice, and said oath shall
be filed among the records of said town.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That at the first
election of officers held under this Charter, the qualified
