(1935 Supplement), title "Purchasing Bureau, " said new
sections to be known as Sections 6B and 6C, to follow im-
mediately after Section 6A of said Article, and to read as
follows:
6B. No bituminous coal shall be purchased by the State
of Maryland or any department or agency thereof, pro-
duced at any mine where the producer has not accepted
code set out in Section 4 of the Acts of the Congress of the
United States, approved August 30, 1935, known as the
"Bituminous Coal Conservation Act of 1935. "
6C. Every contract made by the State of Maryland, or
any department or agency thereof, for any public work,
or service, shall contain a provision that the contractor
shall buy no bituminous coal to use on or in the carrying
out of such contract from any producer except such pro-
ducer has accepted the code set out in Section 4 of the said
Act of the Congress, known as the "Bituminous Coal Con-
servation Act of 1935. "
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1936.

CHAPTER 97.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Caro-
line County to borrow on the faith and credit of Caroline
County twenty-four thousand dollars ($24, 000. 00) and
to issue coupon bonds therefor and to sell the same, the
proceeds arising from the sale thereof to be applied to
the payment and liquidation of certain outstanding notes,
obligations and floating indebtedness due and owing by
the said County Commissioners of Caroline County, and
to provide for the levying of a tax annually upon the
assessable property of Caroline County to pay interest
thereon and for the redemption and payment of said
bonds as the same shall fall due.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Caroline
County be and is hereby authorized and directed to borrow
