the applicant, on the right hand side of the vehicle and shall
at all times be visible. The applicant shall be required to
state his name, address, weight, color, height, color of hair
and eyes, which entry shall be noted on the license to be
issued to any such applicant and such applicant shall, when
engaged in selling or offering for sale, carry said license
either in the vehicle or on his person, and exhibit the same
to any officer of Montgomery County whenever required.

No person, association, firm or corporation so authorized
to hawk, sell, peddle, vend or offer for sale any of the
articles hereinbefore described shall maintain what is
known as a sidewalk stand or place f or selling, but shall
keep continuously moving, and not hawk, sell, peddle, vend,
or off er for sale such articles in any one place.

Any person, association, firm or corporation violating or
failing to comply with the provisions of this Section shall,
upon conviction for each and every offense, be subject to
a fine not exceeding $100. 00 nor less than $10. 00, and upon
failure or refusal to pay the same shall be committed to
the jail of Montgomery County for a period not exceeding
thirty days.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
lake effect June 1, 1936.

CHAPTER 95.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 37 of Article 1A of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cumberland, " sub-
title "Police and Fire, " providing for the retirement on
pension of members of the Police Department under
certain conditions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 37 of Article 1A of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Cumberland, " sub-title "Police and Fire, " be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

37. The members of the Police Department shall be
eligible for retirement on pension on arriving at the age
