CHAPTER 66.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
4 of Chapter 189 of the Acts of 1931, as amended by
Chapter 352 of the Acts of 1935, relating to the bond
to be given by the Treasurer of the Prince George's
County Volunteer Fire Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 4 of Chapter 189 of the Acts of
1931, as amended by Chapter 352 of the Acts of 1935, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
4. The Treasurer of Prince George's County Volunteer
Fire Association shall give bond or personal surety or sure-
ties to the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County in the penal sum of sixteen thousand five hundred
dollars ($16, 500) for the faithful performance of his duties
hereunder.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 67.
AN ACT to incorporate the town of Berwyn, in Prince
George's County, Maryland, to provide for the govern-
ment thereof and to provide for the determination by
referendum to the citizens thereof as to whether or not
this Act shall become effective.
