town to which is attached any salary payable out of town
funds or property except in the case of the town Treasurer
or as otherwise provided in this Act.

(I) That said Commission shall by resolution appoint
a town Treasurer to be known as the District Heights
Treasurer, who shall also act as Clerk to said Commission.
The salary of said town Treasurer shall be Sixty Dollars
($60. 00) per annum.

(J) That each of the Commissioners appointed in Sec-
tion 12 of this Act shall, before entering upon the duties
of his office, take oath, before a Justice of the Peace, or
other officer or person (including a Notary Public), au-
thorized by law to administer oaths in Prince George's
County, that he will diligently and faithfully discharge all
the duties of his office. Each of the Commissioners elected
under Section 10 of this Act shall likewise take such an
oath, but such oath of any of such last named Commis-
sioners may be taken either before the retiring Secretary
Commissioner or before a Justice of the Peace, or other
officer or person, (including a Notary Public), authorized
by law to administer oaths in said County. Such oaths, or
a certified copy of the same, shall be kept among the town
records.

(K) That said town Treasurer, before entering upon
the duties of his office, shall take oath, before the Secre-
tary Commissioner, or before a Justice of the Peace or
other officer or person, (including a Notary Public), au-
thorized to administer oaths in Prince George's County,
that he will diligently, faithfully and honestly discharge
all the duties of his office, and also shall give bond to the
Town of District Heights, with such surety or sureties as
said Commission may by resolution require, in the sum of
One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00). The cost of said bond
shall be paid out of town funds. Said bond, or a certified
copy thereof, and said oath of office, or a certified copy
thereof, shall be kept among the town records.

(L) That said Commission may, by resolution unani-
mously adopted, remove any person from the office of town
Treasurer whenever in the judgment of said Commission
the welfare of said town requires such action. And any
person accepting the office of town Treasurer, by so ac-
cepting said office, consents and agrees that said Commis-
sion has such power so to remove him from office and of
finally terminating any right on his part to receive further
salary or compensation, and of finally terminating any
right on his part to receive or hold any funds, money, prop-
erty, records, books, papers or other things or thing of
