of Maryland to convene forthwith the General Assembly in special
or extraordinary session.

Now, therefore, I, WM. PRESTON LANE, JR., Governor of the State
of Maryland, by virtue of the authority conferred and duty duly
imposed upon me by the Constitution of Maryland, do hereby call
a special or extraordinary session of the General Assembly of
Maryland to consider and act upon the measure aforesaid; said
special or extraordinary session to begin at 11 A. M. on Saturday,
December 17, 1949, at the State Capitol, in the City of Annapolis,
State of Maryland.

GIVEN under my hand and the Great Seal of the State of Mary-
land. Done at the City of Annapolis, this 7th day of December,
in the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-
nine.

City, vice Lawrence W. Ament, deceased.

Mrs. Bessie Dorsey Moss, Annapolis, vice William F. Stromeyer,
resigned. Anne Arundel County.

Harry Wenig, Dundalk, vice Albert Menchine, resigned. Balti-
more County.

James McLean, Bel Air, vice Earle R. Burkins, deceased. Harford
County.
