INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS.

HOUSE RESOLUTION.

By Mr. Luber:

House Resolution presenting the Honorable Herbert R. O'Conor,
Governor of Maryland, the Desk, Chair and Bookcase in the
office in the Government House.

WHEREAS, Honorable Herbert R. O'Conor has been Governor of
the State for eight years; and

WHEREAS, as a slight token of appreciation of services he has
rendered the State and in recognition of the sentiment which the
Desk, Chair and Bookcase in the office in the Government House
must have for him; therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That the Desk,
Chair and Bookcase in the office in the Government House be and
it is hereby presented to Honorable Herbert R. O'Conor, Governor
of Maryland, with the request that he accept it as a token of the
high esteem in which he is held by the people of Maryland.

Which ivas read and adopted.
By the Montgomery County Delegation:

HOUSE RESOLUTION.

House Resolution congratulating Ulysses S. Griffith, IV, on the
formation of an organization from which great things are
expected in the future, the Ulysses S. Griffith, IV, Club.

WHEREAS, it has been learned with great joy of the coming
marriage of Ulysses S. Griffith, IV, to Miss Marion Margaret Taylor
of Scranton, Pennsylvania; and

WHEREAS, the said Ulysses S. Griffith, IV, has served with distinc-
tion as a member of the Montgomery County Delegation; now, there-
fore, be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That congratu-
lations be and they are hereby expressed upon the formation of the
organization, to be known in the future as the Ulysses S. Griffith,
IV, Club; and be it further

Resolved, That the Chief Clerk be and he is hereby directed to
send a copy of this resolution to the said Ulysses S. Griffith, IV,
and condolences to the said Miss Marion Margaret Taylor.

Which was read and adopted.
