HOUSE RESOLUTION.

Resolution acknowledging the receipt of the annual report by the

Comptroller. -

WHEREAS, when the members of the General Assembly gathered
for the Special Session of the General Assembly of 1945, each
member found upon his desk a copy of the annual report of the
State Comptroller, Hon. J. Millard Tawes; and

WHEREAS, it is the feeling of the members of the House of Dele-
gates that Mr. Tawes should be congratulated and thanked for the
preparation of this report; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That the thanks
of this House be and they are: hereby extended to the Hon. J.
Millard Tawes for the preparation of this report; and be it further

Resolved., That a copy of this Resolution be spead upon the Jour-
nal of the House and that the Chief Clerk thereof be and he is hereby
instructed to send a copy thereof to the Hon. J. Millard Tawes and
to Governor Herbert K. O'Conor.

Which was read the first Ume and referred to the Committee on
Rules.
