MESSAGE TO THE SENATE.
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

ANNAPOLIS, MD., November 5, 1945.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
The House of Delegates, pursuant to the Governor's proclamation,
has met in special session, and having organized by the election
of the Honorable John S. White/ Speaker, and John A. Menton,
Chief Clerk, is now ready to proceed with the business of the session.
We respectfully propose,, with your concurrence, the appoint-
ment of a joint committee of five members, three to be appointed
upon the part of the House and two upon the part of the Senate,
to wait upon the Governor and inform him that the General As-
sembly is now organized and prepared to receive any communica-
tions he may desire to make.
We have appointed upon the part of the House Messrs. Luber,
Dick and Mrs. Joffe.
