Senate Bill No. 3—By Senator Lindsay (President) :
A Bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council
of Cumberland, Maryland, to borrow the sum of Two Hundred Fifty
Thousand ($250,000.00) Dollars, and to issue coupon bonds for
payment of the same, to be known as Water Improvement Bonds
of 1945', and to sell the same and to use the proceeds thereof for
the purpose of paying expenses incident to the construction of an
auxiliary water line and other improvements from Lake Gordon
to the City of Cfumberland? and to provide for the payment of said
bonds and the interest thereon."

the payment of expenses of the General Assembly of Maryland for
the Extraordinary Session of 1945."

Senate Bill No. 5—By Senator Kimble:
A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 56A of Article 1A of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title 'City of Cumberland', sub-title
'Taxes', as said section was amended by Chapter 454 of the Acts
of 1945, relating to the special tax to be levied upon taxable prop-
erty in Cumberland and the bonus for certain employees of the
City of Cumberland."

Senate Bill No. 6—By Senators Myers and Funk:
A Bill entitled "An Act to authorize and empower the Mayor and
Council of Sharpsburg,, a municipal. corporation of the State of
Maryland, to borrow upon the faith and credit of Sharpsburg, a
sum of money not exceeding One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) and to issue and sell bonds therefor and to use the
proceeds thereof for the construction of a water and sewerage
system for said town and for the acquisition of property necessary
therefor, either by gift, purchase or condemnation; to levy taxes upon
the assessable property in said town and collect taxes thereon to pay
the principal and interest on said bonds; to provide, by ordinance,
for water and sewer rents or charges for the use of the water and
sewerage systems of said town; and to provide that such water and
