HOUSE RESOLUTION.
By the Prince George's County Delegation:

A Resolution on the death of the late Noah Joffe.

WHEREAS, the members of the House of Delegates have learned
with profound regret of the sudden and untimely death of the
Honorable Noah Joffe, a member of this body for the sessions of
1943,1944 and 1945; and

WHEREAS, during his service in this body he was diligent in the
performance of his duties; and

WHEREAS, in the death of the Honorable Noah Joffe, Prince
George's County and the State of Maryland have lost a faithful
public official; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That the mem-
bers of the House express their deep regret on the death of the
late Honorable Noah Joffe and hereby extend their deepest sympathy
to the members of his family; and be it further

Resolved, That this Resolution be spread upon the Journal of the
House and that the Chief Clerk be and he is hereby directed to send
a copy to the family of the late Honorable Noah Joffe.

Which was read and adopted.

MESSAGE TO THE SENATE.

ANNAPOLIS; MD.; November 5, 1945.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We propose with your concurrence, that when the General Assem-
bly adjourns at 7.30 P. M.? Monday, November 5, 1945, it stand
adjourned, sine die.
