nished and shall be collectible as city taxes are now or may
hereafter be by law collected and shall have the same priority
rights, bear the same interest and penalties and in every respect
be treated the same as said taxes now are.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 43.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 131
of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1888 Edition), title "Wicomico County, " sub-title
"Salisbury, " as said section was amended by Chapter 277
of the Acts of 1927, extending the time before the full
city-tax rate shall apply to the territory annexed to the
City of Salisbury by Chapter 277 of the Acts of 1927.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 131 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Wicom-
ico County, " subtitle "Salisbury, " as said section was amended
by Chapter 277 of the Acts of 1927, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
131. The taxable and corporate limits of said City shall
begin at a large marked pine situated on the east bank of the
Wicomico River on the division line between the properties of
Arthur Ward and H. K. Kriebel, thence South 37 degrees, 45
minutes east, 1, 225. 5 feet to a cement post on the division line
between the properties of William F. Allen and John W. Mes-
sick et al.; thence South 76 degrees, 3 minutes East 4, 721. 6
feet to the stone on the West side of South Division Street
Extended or Fook's Mill Road; thence North 81 degrees, 5
minutes East 1, 707 feet to a stone at the intersection of the
North line of College Avenue with the East line of George
Street in Normal-site; thence north 32 degrees, 31 minutes
East 10, 306 feet crossing the East prong of the Wicomico River
to a stone at the intersection of East Church Street Extended
with East Main Street Extended; thence North 45 degrees, 46
