CHAPTER 315.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Harford County to grant a pension of fifteen dollars ($15)
per month to Mr. and Mrs. James O. Gorrell, or survivor,
for a period of five years.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Harford County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to grant a
pension of fifteen dollars ($15) per month to Mr. and Mrs.
James O. Gorrell, or survivor, of said county, the said pension
to be paid for a period of five years.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 316.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
179 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Justices of the
Peace and Constables, " as said section was amended by
Chapter 297 of the Acts of 1927; said amendments ex-
cepting certain Election Districts from the operation of said
section; and to add five new sections to said Article, said
new sections to be known as Sections 179AAA to 179EEE,
inclusive, to follow immediately after Section 179 AA of
said Article, and to reduce the number of Justices of the
Peace in Election Districts 8, 9, 10, 15, 18, 25 and 27 of
Allegany County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 179 of Article 1 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County, " sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables, " as said section was
amended by Chapter 297 of the Acts of 1927, be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to
read as follows:
