SEC. 1. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 311,

AN ACT to add a new sub-title to be known as "Landlord and
Tenant, " and to add eight (8) new additional sections to
Offutt's Revised Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore
County (1916), to be known as Sections 330A, 330B,
330C, 330D, 330E, 330F, 330G and 330H, providing for
the abolition of the right of distress in certain cases and
providing for the summary ejection of tenants in certain
cases and the method and procedure thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new sub-title to be known as "Landlord and
Tenant" and eight (8) additional sections be added to Offutt's
Revised Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County
(1916), to be known as Sections 330A, 330B, 330C, 330D,
330E, 330F, 330G and 330H, to read as follows:

LANDLORD AND TENANT.

330A. In all cases of any demise or agreement for rental,
express or implied, verbal or written, hereafter to be made of
lands or tenements, whether real estate or chattels real, within
the limits of Baltimore County, for less term than three
calendar months, the remedy of distress for rent due be and
the same is hereby taken away and altogether superseded.

330B. Whenever the tenant under any such demise or
agreement of rental, express or implied, verbal or written, of
lands or tenements, whether real estate or chattels real within
the limits of Baltimore County, shall fail to pay the rent
thereunder when due and payable, it shall be lawful for the
lessor to have again and re-possess the premises so rented.
