CHAPTER 5.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the municipal corporation,
the Commissioners of Church Hill, to acquire real estate
situated within its corporate limits, either by purchase or

gift.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the municipal corporation, the 'Commissioners
of Church Hill, be and it is authorized and empowered to own
in its name, for the benefit of said municipal corporation, any
real estate situated within the limits of said municipal cor-
poration which it may believe will be of benefit and use to said
municipal corporation and to acquire said real estate either by
purchase or gift and donation; and when said real estate has
been so acquired by said municipal corporation that said real
estate is to be deeded to said municipal corporation in fee.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 6.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the municipal corporation,
the Commissioners of Church Hill, to borrow upon the faith
and credit of said municipal corporation the sum of ten
thousand dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary
for the purpose of constructing and erecting a building, in
the corporate limits of said municipal corporation and equip-
ping same, said building to be a community hall and to be
under the management and jurisdiction of the Commis-
sioners of Church Hill; to execute the promissory notes of
said municipal corporation for a period not exceeding eleven
years from January 1, 1929.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Commissioners of Church Hill, a munici-
pal corporation, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered
to borrow upon the faith and credit of the said municipal
corporation, the sum of ten thousand dollars, for the purpose
