Frederick County for the year 1916 and annually thereafter
the sum of $1, 800, to be paid on or before the first day of
January, 1917, and annually thereafter on or before the first
day of January in each and every year; $200 of said sum to
the Treasurer of the Independent Hose Company of Frederick,
$200 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Junior Steam Fire
Engine Company of Frederick, $200 of said sum to the Treas-
urer of the United Steam Fire Engine Company of Frederick,
$200 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Brunswick Volunteer
Fire Company of Brunswick, $200 of said sum to the Treas-
urer of the Vigilant Hose Company of Emmitsburg, $200 of
said sum to the Treasurer of the Guardian Hose Company of
Thurmont, $200 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Middle-
town Volunteer Fire Company, $200 of said sum to the Treas-
urer of the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company, and $200
of said sum to the Treasurer of the Mt. Airy Fire Company,
the said sums to be applied by the respective companies for
their maintenance and support.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 304,
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter
518 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, Ses-
sion of 1924, entitled "An Act to prohibit the sale and man-
ufacture of firecrackers, squibbs, rockets and other com-
bustible fireworks in the Silver Spring Precinct of the Thir-
teenth District of Montgomery County, " so as to prohibit
the firing, manufacture and sale of fireworks in the Second
Precinct and the Fifth Precinct of the Thirteenth Election
District of Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 516 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, Session of 1924, entitled "An Act to prohibit
the sale and manufacture of firecrackers, squibbs, rockets and
other combustible fireworks in the Silver Spring Precinct of
