In assessing the costs in sales under the provisions hereof,
a reasonable sum for counsel fees, not exceeding ten dollars
for each parcel of land thus sold, in addition to other fees and
expenses such as advertising, printing, auctioneer's and other
similar expenses, for reporting said sale to and procuring the
ratification thereof by the Circuit Court for Dorchester Coun-
ty, shall be included.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this is an emer-
gency law, necessary for the health, safety and best interests
of the citizens of the town of Vienna, in Dorchester County,
Maryland and, three-fifths of the members of the General As-
sembly of Maryland concurring therein, shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved April 11, 1929.

CHAPTER 294.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 51
and 52 of Article 12, title "Garrett County, " sub-title
"County Treasurer, " (Section 52 having been amended by
Chapter 144 of the Acts of 1898), relating to collection of
taxes, the sale of property for the non-payment of taxes,
the auditing of the books of the County Treasurer and the
bond of the County Treasurer.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 295.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "St.
Mary's County, " sub-title "County Treasurer, " said new
section to be known as Section 25½ and to follow imme-
diately after Section 25 of said Article as said Section 25
was enacted by Chapter 225 of the Acts of 1912, requiring
the County Treasurer to report annually the amount of rev-
enue collected by him from the license tax on dogs and the
taxes on motor vehicles and the disbursements made from
the revenues received from each of said taxes.
