County Commissioners of Prince George's County by virtue
of the authority imposed upon them by Chapter 176 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1927; and to validate
Chapter 176 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1927,
which Chapter authorized the issuance and sale of bonds to
the extent of $106, 000, and for the application of the pro-
ceeds thereof to the building of a concrete road along the
present Edmonston Road in said county from East River-
dale to the Branchville Road.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the bonds authorized, issued and sold on the
21st of June, 1927, and dated July 1, 1927, by the County
Commissioners of Prince George's County, as authorized by
Chapter 176 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1927, for
the purpose of building a concrete road along the present
Edmonston Road in said county from East Riverdale to the
Branchville Road, be, and the same are hereby validated and
approved, and all defects removed therefrom, so that the same
shall be and become a valid and subsisting obligation of Prince
George's County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Chapter 176 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1927 authorizing the issue,
sale and disposition of said bonds, be, and the same is hereby
validated, approved and cured in all particulars whatsoever;
'the purpose of this Act being to validate, approve and cure the
Act authorizing the issue, the actual issuance, and the actual
sale and disposition thereof by sale, as authorized and intended
to be authorized by virtue of said Act; as well as to validate the
process of levy and collection of tax on the real estate specifical-
ly mentioned in said Act for the purpose of collecting the
annual interest on said bonds and the redemption of the same
at maturity.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of public health and safety, and being passed
upon a yea and nay vote, supported by threes-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General As-
sembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.
