and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:

3. The said Redemptorists shall be capable of holding
property, real, personal and mixed, and securities of any kind,
without limit as to the amount thereof.

SEC, 3, And be it further enacted, That this Act "shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

Approved April 11, 1929.


CHAPTER 232.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Police Commissioner of
Baltimore City to pay a pension to James G. Kiggins.

CHAPTER 233.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 87
of Article 27 of Bagby's Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments, "
sub-title "Desertion of Wife and Child. "

CHAPTER 234.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Cecil County, Maryland, to refund to the Charlestown
Sand and Stone Company, the sum of one hundred and
thirty dollars and twenty cents ($130. 20) paid in error
by it into the County Treasury, as County taxes, for the
years 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926 and 1927 and to make levy
for the same.
