County, to follow immediately after Section 102 of said
Article, and providing that same be considered an emer-
gency measure.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 102 of Article 39 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws of Maryland, title "Fish and Fisheries, "
sub-title "Crabs, " be and is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to read as follows:

102. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to take,
catch or gather hard shell crabs in any of the waters of the State
of Maryland, except in the waters of Worcester County, be-
tween the first day of November and the first day of May next
succeeding in each and every year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That one new section
to be known as 102A, be added to Article 39 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Fish and Fisheries, "
sub-title "Crabs, " to follow immediately after Section 102 of
said Article, be and is hereby added, to read as follows:

102A. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to
take, catch or gather crabs in any of the waters of Worcester
County between the first day of October and the first day of
April next succeeding, in each and every year.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws of the State of Maryland, general or local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed, to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.
