upon the duties of his office he shall take an oath before the
Judge of the Circuit Court for said County, faithfully to
perform the duties of the same. He shall execute to the State
of Maryland such bond as is now or may hereafter be required
by law, as the collector of State taxes, in the penal sum of
thirty thousand dollars, with three or more individual sure-
ties or corporate surety to be approved by the County Com-
missioners; and he shall execute to the said State, for the use
of the County Commissioners of Baltimore County a bond in1
the penal sum of forty thousand dollars, with at least three
individual sureties or corporate surety to be approved by them
conditioned for the faithful performance of his duty as col-
lector of county taxes. The said Treasurer shall receive as
compensation for his services as collector of both State and
County taxes the annual sum of forty-two hundred dollars to
be paid in monthly installments.

CHAPTER 25.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 93
of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Garrett County, " sub-title "Dogs, " as enacted by
Chapter 59 of the Acts of 1927, increasing the number of
constables charged with the duty of collecting license fees
for dogs; awarding to the arresting constable one-half of the
fines of persons fined for violating the provisions for the
taxation of dogs; and providing for the licensing of dogs
of the age of 3 months or over.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 93 of Article 12 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Garrett County, " sub-title
"Dogs, " as enacted by Chapter 59 of the Acts of 1927, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read
as follows:

93. All license fees for dogs in Garrett County shall here-
after be collected by Constables, not exceeding four in num-
ber, to be appointed for that purpose by the County Com-
missioners of said county. Each of said Constables shall re-
