viously made to Haskins & Sells out of the




State roads funds being hereby approved




and confirmed), (2) future stenographic




charges (the payment of $1, 000 for steno-




graphic services previously made to Jack




Salomon being hereby confirmed), (3) future




possible miscellaneous expenses; this ap-




propriation to be paid from the receipts of




the motor vehicle department and gasoline




taxes, not exceeding......................

To the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Company, for




maintenance of its service. To be ex-




pended, subject to the approval and under




the direction of the State Roads Commis-




sion, and to be paid from the receipts of the




motor vehicle department and gasoline




taxes; only payable if and when the gross




receipts of the bridge from the date of its




completion up to September 30, 1931, on toll




rates to be approved by the Public Service




Commission, shall be insufficient to pay




operating expenses, interest on the bonds




and dividend on the preferred stocks of the




corporation, issuance of which is or shall be




authorized by the Public Service Commis-




sion of Maryland, and then only to the ex-




tent of such deficiency....................
