The State's Attorney for Wicomico County shall be paid by
the County Commissioners for said Wicomico County in addition
to the salary now received by said State's Attorney the additional
sum of One Thousand Dollars per annum, for his attendance
before the People's Court; the said sum to be paid in equal
quarterly installments on January first, April first, July first
and October first.
54J1. The Judge of the People's Court and the Clerk of the
People's Court shall be entitled to charge and collect the costs
and fees herein provided for the performance of their respective
duties, and such costs and fees shall be payable at the time of
the institution of said proceedings to the Clerk of the People's
Court, said costs and fees to be as follows:

54K. The County Commissioners for Wicomico County are
hereby directed, authorized and empowered to make provision
by appropriation in their annual levy during the term for which
said Judge of the People's Court is appointed from year to
year sufficient funds to pay the salaries of said Judge, Clerk
and State's Attorney; and to provide said Judge with suitable
dockets, indexes, forms, supplies, and all other equipment, suit-
able safe, cabinets and filing system for the preservation and
filing of books and papers; and all other necessaries for the
conduct and functioning of said Court; they shall provide suit-
able quarters conveniently located in the central part of the City
of Salisbury, Maryland, for the transaction of the business of
the Court, and said Judge shall be the custodian of said quarters.
SEC. 2. The unconstitutionality of any one or more of the
aforegoing provisions or sections shall not be construed as in-
validating the entire Act.
