county, or to aid or assist any person, house, company, associa-
tion or body corporate in such barter, sale or gift.

421. If any person, house, company, association or body
corporate shall violate any of the provisions of the two preced-
ing sections, he or they shall, on each and every conviction
thereof, before any court or Justice of the Peace, be sentenced
to be confined in the Maryland House of Correction not less
than thirty days nor more than six months, or forfeit, and pay
a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than six
hundred dollars, and costs of prosecution, or be both fined and
imprisoned in the discretion of the Court or Magistrate, as the
case may be, and failing to pay any such fine and costs forth-
with, shall be sentenced to be confined in the Maryland House
of Correction, for a term not less than three months nor more
than twelve months, or until such fine and costs are paid.

423. All fines imposed under the sub-title of this Article
shall be paid to the Board of Education of Harford County,
for the use of the public schools in said county.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws inconsist-
ent with the provisions of this bill are hereby repealed to the
extent of their inconsistency.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 91.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
24 and 25 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Wicomico County, " sub-title "Delmar, "
as said sections were amended by Chapter 192 of the Acts
of 1900; to add a new section to be known as Section 24A,
and to follow immediately after Section 24 of said Article
and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 27 of
said Article 23 as said section was amended by Chapter 302
of the Acts of 1914, amending the Charter of the town of
Delmar in Wicomico County.
