Acts of 1904, Chapter 262, be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
216Q. The Road Directors shall not be liable in any action
whatsoever growing out of or caused by any of the existing
roads in Allegany County being narrower than required by
law or growing out of or caused by their being narrower than
they were originally planned; nor shall said Road Directors be
required to keep the public roads in Allegany County free
from snowdrifts; nor shall said Road Directors be liable to
any action for damages caused by snowdrifts, snow, ice, nor
any accumulations thereof; nor shall said Road Directors be
liable for damages of any kind unless the person injured, or
someone in his behalf, shall give the Clerk of the Road Direc-
tors for Allegany County notice in writing of such injury
within sixty days after the same has been received, stating
specifically in such notice when, where and how the injury
occurred, and the extent thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 80.
AN" ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Cum-
berland to issue bonds to the amount of Eighty Thousand
($80, 000. 00) Dollars for the purpose of building a public
incinerator, and to submit the question of the issuance of
said bonds to the voters of said city, and to provide for the
advertisement and sale of the same and the redemption of
same at maturity, together with the interest thereon when
and as the same becomes due and payable, and repealing any
Act or part thereof inconsistent herewith.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Cumber-
land, Maryland, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered
to issue bonds to the amount of Eighty Thousand ($80, 000. 00)
Dollars, payable at the end of twenty years from the date of
