49A. The Town Commissioners of Centreville, a municipal
corporation, are hereby authorized and empowered by ordi-
nance to regulate the showing of circuses, street shows and any
other kind of performances within the corporate limits of the
town of Centreville and to charge a fee for each and every per-
formance and to issue a license for said performance upon the
payment of said fee.
49B. Any person violating the provisions of the preceding
section and found guilty of so doing upon trial before any
Justice of the Peace in the town of Centreville shall be fined
not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than one hundred
dollars for each and every violation and shall be committed to
the County Jail in default of the payment of said fine and
costs.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 14.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the municipal corporation,
the Town Commissioners of Centreville to borrow upon the
faith and credit of said municipal corporation, the sum of
one thousand dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary
for the purpose of paying for the lot and stable purchased
by said municipal corporation, in the town of Centreville;
to execute the promissory notes of said municipal corpora-
tion and to renew said notes from time to time for a period
not exceeding three years from January 1, 1929.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Town Commissioners of Centreville, a
municipal corporation, be and it is hereby authorized and
empowered to borrow upon the faith and credit of said munic-
ipal corporation the sum of one thousand dollars for the pur-
pose of paying for the stable and lot situated in the town of
Centreville to be used as the town stable and for hitching pur-
poses, and to execute the promissory notes of said municipal
corporation, the Town Commissioners of Centreville for the
amount so borrowed. Said notes shall be drawn in such
