ation. All roads, streets, avenues, alleys and highways, lying
in any of the territory hereinabove described, which shall have
been heretofore dedicated and accepted, or legally condemned
or acquired as roads or streets, under the provisions of any Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, or of the common law,
shall be held to be valid constituted public highways of Fred-
erick City.

254A. The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick are hereby
authorized and directed to erect or plant suitable stone or iron
markers to designate and definitely establish the lines of the
taxable limits of Frederick City, and it shall be unlawful for
any person or persons to move or remove any such marker, or
to cause, aid, or abet any person in so doing; and any person
violating any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less
than one hundred dollars, nor more than five hundred dollars,
or be imprisoned in the House of Correction for a period not
less than three months nor more than two years, or be both
fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court.

254B. All the rights, titles and interests heretofore ac-
quired by the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick, or by any
other corporation, firm or individual, are hereby saved and pre-
served to be availed of by the Mayor and Aldermen of Fred-
erick, or any other corporation, firm or individual as fully and
to the same extent as though this Act had not been passed, and
nothing in this Act shall be construed as in any manner impar-
ing the validity of any such rights, titles and interests which
have accrued under said Chapter 93 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1914, or said Chapter 550 of the Acts of Assembly of 1906,
or of said Chapter 407 of the Acts of Assembly of 1924, or of
any rights and remedies thereof or in relation thereto, but all
such rights and remedies shall remain and be enforceable the
same as though this Act had not been passed.
