salary as the County Commissioners of Harford County shall
direct, which salary shall be paid in equal monthly install-
ments.

The County Commissioners may appoint such additional
clerk or clerks, from time to time, as may be found necessary
to the proper discharge of the duties of their office, under such
safeguards as the County Commissioners may deem requisite,
from time to time, and such additional clerk or clerks shall
receive such sum or sums of money as said County Commis-
sioners shall deem proper for the services rendered, which said
sums shall be payable monthly during such time as said addi-
tional clerk or clerks may be employed. The County Commis-
sioners may appoint such additional clerk or clerks from time
to time as may be found necessary to the proper discharge of
the duties of the County Treasurer, and said County Treasurer
shall be allowed for such clerk's hire such sum or sums as the
County Commissioners shall deem necessary for the proper
conducting of the Treasurer's Office.

The compensation herein provided for all such clerks so
employed shall be paid only upon vouchers duly issued by the
County Commissioner's and payable by the Treasurer of Har-
ford County.

CHAPTER 71.

AN ACT to authorize, empower and require the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester County to issue coupon bonds on the
credit of Dorchester County to the amount of Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($25, 000. 00) for the completion of a
public school building in the town of Cambridge, in said
County, and for the completion of a public school building
in the town of Hurlock, in said County, and for renovating,
furnishing and equipping such buildings; and to empower
and require the said County Commissioners to levy and col-
lect a tax upon assessable property of said County to pay
the said bonds, and interest thereon, as the same mature.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
