1410 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 574

To a deed from Charles L. Stockhauser to Trinity African
Methodist Episcopal Church of Baltimore dated July 11th, 1927,
and recorded in Liber S. C. L. No. 4762, folio 353, etc.

Beginning for the same at the corner formed by the intersec-
tion of the north side of Lanvale Street with the east side of
an alley twenty feet wide called Hollins Alley and running
thence easterly binding on Lanvale Street thirty-six feet and
six inches thence northerly parallel with Hollins Alley one hun-
dred and seven feet to the south side of an alley ten feet wide
thence westerly binding on the south side of said alley thirty-
six feet six inches to Hollins Alley and thence southerly binding
on the east side of Hollins Alley to the place of beginning. Sub-
ject to a ground rent of $60. 00.

CHAPTER 574.

AN ACT to add nine (9) new sections to Article 19A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (Edition of 1924), title "Con-
servation, of Natural Resources, " sub-title "Rare Earths and
Minerals, " said new sections to follow immediately after
Section 12 of said Article and to be known as Sections 13 to
21, both inclusive, to make available for industrial and com-
mercial uses rare earths and minerals useful in the arts and
industries, and found to exist in the public lands under the
navigable waters of the Chesapeake Bay and to protect the
interests of the State therein by authorizing permits for their
recovery by dredging and otherwise under appropriate limi-
tations and supervisions,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That nine (9) new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 19A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Edi--
tion of 1924), title "Conservation of Natural Resources, " sub-
title "Rare Earths and Minerals, " said new sections to follow
immediately after Section 12 of said Article and to be known
as Sections 13 to 21, both inclusive, and to read as follows:

13. Every person, firm, association or corporation taking
any minerals, or rare earths, under the provisions of this sub-
title, shall file, on or before the last Monday in January of each
