northerly direction along the western boundary of Baltimore
City to the northern boundary thereof; thence due east along
the northern boundary of Baltimore City to the eastern bound-
ary thereof; thence due south along said eastern boundary of
Baltimore City to the point of beginning, be and the same is
hereby designated and constituted, for the purposes hereinafter
set forth, to be the "Baltimore County Metropolitan District. "
In addition, the Baltimore County Metropolitan District shall
include, for the purposes of assessing front foot benefit charges
for water supply, sewerage and drainage systems, a marginal
strip of land without the Metropolitan District to a distance of
one hundred and fifty (150) feet over the Metropolitan District
line, except within the territorial limits of Baltimore City. The
names of the roads herein mentioned are as given on the 1919
map of Baltimore County road system, prepared by the Balti-
more County Roads Engineer, a copy of which plat marked
Baltimore County District Plat is to be recorded among the
land records of Baltimore County immediately after the pas-
sage of this Act.

CHAPTER 62.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Wash-
ington County to pay to the Washington County Public
Health Association, Incorporated, to be used by said Asso-
ciation in paying the salary of the nurse or nurses em-
ployed by said Association, such amounts from time to time
as said County 'Commissioners of Washington County may
in their discretion determine, not, however, to exceed a total
of fifteen hundred dollars in any one year, and to authorize
said County Commissioners of Washington County to levy
upon the taxable property in said Washington County such
taxes as may be necessary to provide the amounts so author-
ized to be paid to said Association.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That the County Commissioners of Washington
County be and they are hereby authorized to pay to the Wash-
ington County Public Health Association, Incorporated, to be
used by said Association in paying the salary of the nurse or
nurses employed by said Association, such amounts from time
