WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the Budget Amendment, sec-
tions of the Code providing for specific appropriations to the
several departments are useless and superfluous; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 26, 29 and 30 of Article 39A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Forestry, " sub-
titles "Roadside Trees" and "Miscellaneous, " be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 506.

AN ACT to repeal Section 11 of Article 13 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Bills of Exchange
and Promissory Notes. "

WHEREAS, Section 11 of Article 13 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), is a duplicate of Section 18 of Ar-
ticle 75 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Pleadings, Practice and Process at Law, '' sub-title "Plead-
ings"; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 11 of Article 13 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Bills of Exchange and Promis-
sory Notes, " foe and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
59A and 59B of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Carroll County, " sub-title "Justices of
