1206 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 474

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 88A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edi-
tion), title "State Aid and Charities, " said new section to be
under the sub-title "Prohibited Acts, " to be known as Sec-
tion 32, to follow immediately after Section 31 of said Article,
and to read as follows:

32. All state penal institutions and all institutions, of a
penal or reformatory nature, whose primary object is reforma-
tional and not educational, receiving State Aid are hereby for-
bidden to raise for sale, except to other state institutions or
institutions receiving State Aid, or canneries, any perishable
vegetable produce. Any person connected with any state penal
institution or other institutions as above specified receiving
State Aid violating any of the provisions of this section, or
taking part in any such violation, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than
fifty dollars ($50. 00) nor more than one hundred dollars
($100. 00), and if an employee of a state institution shall be
subject to removal.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 474.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 10
of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924
Edition), title "Wild Fowl—Birds and Game, " as said
Article was enacted by Chapter 568 of the Acts of 1927,
providing penalties for searching dwellings without search
warrant or while so engaged, without reasonable cause,
search any other building or property.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 10 of Article 99 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Wild Fowl—Birds
and Game, " as said Article was enacted by Chapter 568 of the
Acts of 1927, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, to read as follows:
