inclusive, in every year. All nets and stakes for the taking of
fish must be removed before the hour of midnight on the 31st
day of October in every year.

(f) It shall be unlawful to haul seine or fish with nets in
any of the rivers, creeks, coves or branches of waters within
the limits of or adjacent or contiguous to Baltimore County
without first obtaining the permission in writing thereto from
the owners or occupiers of the banks or shores in Baltimore
County of such creeks, coves or branches of waters aforesaid in
front of or opposite to which any such seine or net is or may be
placed.

Sec. 30A. Caroline County. It shall be unlawful to haul
a seine of any description whatever in the waters of the Chop-
tank River and its tributaries, for the purpose of catching fish,
from the 21st day of May to the 31st day of July, both dates
inclusive, in each and every year.

Sec. 31. Cecil County, (a) It shall be unlawful to use any
pound net or staked net in the waters of the Susquehanna
River, (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to place any
pound nets opposite the shore of any owner of land bordering
on the waters of the Elk, Bohemia and Sassafras Rivers and
their tributaries, and the North East River from Turkey Point
to the head of said river, or such parts of said river as may be
within the limits of Cecil County, unless the consent in writing
of such owner is first obtained; nor shall any such pound nets
be so placed as to obstruct the hauling of any seine upon any
established fishing shore on said waters unless so placed by the
owner of such fishing shore.

Sec. 32. Charles County, (a) Non-residents of the county
may fish when the right or privilege has been granted to them
by persons owning or occupying lands on the Wicomico River
or on the Potomac River or any of their tributaries in said
county, to catch fish on their water fronts. Provided, also,
that the land owner desiring to grant the privilege to catch
fish on his water front shall ascertain and distinctly mark the
line dividing his land and water front from that of the ad-
joining land owner, by fixing a substantial stake or buoy
immediately on his dividing line 500 yards from the beach,
and another in the same line half way between the beach and
the outer stake or buoy; and when the water front is on a
