1168 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 470

WHEREAS, The Governor of Maryland (lid, under and by
authority of Chapter 366 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, of 1920 by proclamation bearing date the 13th
day of February, 1926, declare the Charter of said corporation,
null and void; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That the said proclamation of the Governor of Mary-
land insofar as it affected The Peach Bottom Slate Company
of Harford County, be and it is hereby set aside and that the
Charter of the said The Peach Bottom Slate Company of
Harford County, be and it is hereby revived, together with
all powers incident thereto upon the payment by it to the Comp-
troller of all taxes due by it to the said State of Maryland,
with interest thereon and all penalties imposed upon it for
Its neglect in that particular.

Approved April 11, 1929.

CHAPTER 469.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter
572 of the Acts of 1927, codified as Section 167A of Article
81 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, fixing
the method and rate of taxation of the shares of stock of
Casualty, Surety, Guaranty, Fidelity, Fire and Marine In-
surance Companies having a capital stock divided into
shares, organized under the Laws of this State and located.
and doing business therein.

CHAPTER 470.

AN ACT to provide for the commemoration of the Three Hun-
dredth Anniversary of the Founding of the Province of Mary-
land by the appointment of a commission to report to the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1931 any recommendations
as to what provision should be made for said Tercentenary
anniversary in 1933 and 1934.
