CHAPTER 458.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Treasurer of Charles
County to pay certain sums of money received by him from
dog licenses to the Treasurer of the County Board of Educa-
tion of said county for the use of the Pomonkey Industrial
School of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Treasurer of Charles County be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to pay to the Treasurer of the
County Board of Education of said county the sum of one
thousand five hundred ($1, 500) dollars, being part of the
money received by him from the dog licenses issued in said
county, the said one thousand five hundred ($1, 500) dollars
to be paid out by the said Treasurer of the County Board of
Education only upon vouchers or bills approved by the County
Board of Education, or a majority thereof, for permanent
improvements to the Pomonkey Industrial School of said
county and not for the current operating expenses of said
school.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 459.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendment Sections 1,
3, 5, 8 and 9, of Chapter 340 of the Acts of 1927, title
"Wild Fowl—Birds and Game, " sub-title "Water Fowl. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 1, 3, 5, 8 and 9, of Chapter 340,
of the Acts of 1927, title "Wild Fowl—Birds and Game, "
sub-title "Susquehanna Flats, " be and they are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

1. For the purpose of this Act, all the part of the Chesa-
peake Bay and its waters lying within the following lines shall
be known as the "Susquehanna Flats, " more briefly referred to
herein as the Flats.
