1108 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 429

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County
Commissioners of Kent County, shall in each and every year
levy upon the assessable property in Kent County such sums
of money as may be necessary to pay the interest on said bonds
as said interest may be due, and also to levy such sums in
addition thereto as may be required to pay or redeem said bonds
as the same may mature from time to time until all of said bonds
shall have been paid. Any interest which may accrue on the bank
deposits made by the Treasurer of the proceeds from the sale or
sales of said bonds shall not be expended by the Board of County
Commissioners of Kent County but said interest monies shall be
withdrawn from the special account from time to time and ap-
plied to the payment of the interest when due on said bonds
outstanding; in which event the Board of County Commissioners
of Kent County shall levy a tax sufficient to pay the difference
between the whole amount of the annual or semi-annual interest
on said bonds outstanding and such part of said interest as is
met by interest accruals on the bank deposits, so long as any of
said proceeds remain on deposit.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the question whether
said "Public Slag or Stone Road Bonds of Kent County, 1929"
shall or shall not be issued by the County Commissioners of Kent
County for the purposes set forth in this Act shall be submitted
to the registered and qualified voters of Kent County on Sat-
urday, May 11th, 1929, at a special election to be then held, at
which special election the polls shall be open at 8. 00 o 'clock A. M.
and shall close at 6. 00 o'clock P. M., and the Supervisors of
Election of Kent County are hereby directed to have ballots
printed to be used in said election, on which ballots shall ap-
pear in clear, plain, bold type, of the size and style required
by the General Election Laws of the State, of Maryland for the
printing of names of candidates, the following question, to wit:

"Shall or shall not Public Slag or Stone Road Bonds of the
par value of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100, 000), be
issued by the County Commissioners of Kent County, the pro-
ceeds to be used by the Board of County Commissioners of
Kent County for the construction and improvement of roads
in Kent County, as provided by Chapter.... of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1929. "

Immediately after which shall be printed on separate lines,
with a square box to the right and opposite the words, "For
Public Slag or Stone Road Bonds, " and a corresponding square
to the right and opposite the words, "Against Public Slag or
Stone Road Bonds, " all to be printed on said ballots, so as to
give the voter a clear opportunity to designate by a cross mark
(X) in the proper square or box, his or her decision for or
against said Public Slag or Stone Road Bonds. The Supervisors
